Österreichische Industrie Holding AG is the Austrian Republic's investment and privatization agency

OIAG pursues a dual strategy in carrying out its role as the Austrian Republic's investment and privatization agency. On the one hand, it aims to increase the value of the investments entrusted to it, and on the other to monitor its investments for exit scenarios and - depending on its mandate from the Austrian government - to partially or fully privatize its companies. Both strategies are applied in parallel in order to ensure maximum independence.
Today OIAG is a holding company free of political influence that operates with close ties to industry.
